The links below will take you to some images I made using Micrografx Picture Publisher 6.0, which I basically bought because I couldn't afford Photoshop 4.0. My PC's only a 486 DX-2/66, but Picture Publisher moves along at a pretty reasonable clip & seems to do (most of) the things I wanna do. Of course, I'm still learning how to use some of it, but I'm having fun while I do. (Is it wrong to love a program?) I hope you get something from the images, even if it's only the chance of working out what's wrong with them. If art can't be good, it should at least be annoying.

One of the things that surprised me when I went looking was the paucity of web pages devoted to Picture Publisher. I mean, it seems like half the web wants to talk about Photoshop. (Of course, I'd be talking about Photoshop if'n I could've afforded it...) Still, a lot of the Photoshop sites are full of great stuff, & it's often pretty easy to translate Photoshop techniques into Picture Publisher terms to achieve similar effects. But having said that, if you know of any dedicated Picture Publisher sites, I'd be interested to hear about them.
