pompeii
pompeii was fantastic, strangely atmospheric despite there being heaps of people around the place... we got audio guides, which we didn’t usually do, so we had a disembodied english narrator accompanying us... but yeah, the excavations are incredible...

lots of angels, which i couldn’t work out...

the walls are full of steam pipes...

the famous beware of the dog mosaic... cave canem...
me in the house of the tragic poet... i coulda just stayed home...

i’m pretty sure that’s not a satellite dish...
