orvieto & siena
we stopped overnight at orvieto on our trip north... it’s a hilltop town, with the full on scenic antiquity thing happening... we had two nights in siena, the first of which featured the notorious motor lodge debacle, but also featured an amazing restaurant... we found a much nicer hotel for our second night...

& an incredibly ornate facade...

the cathedral at siena is huge... & also has the boiled lolly look going...
