another weekend, another park — mita park, behind ebisu garden place, as opposed to the mita near tamachi, where i used to work…
flying fox? is that what those things are called? haruki is too small to ride it, but not too small to chase it… &, of course, if anyone is going to be driving the three seater dog thing…
weird weather — saturday turned out to be gorgeously warm & sunny, & we finished up in shinjuku gyoen with hana taking the mc role & directing the entertainment… pretty much ran through an entire day’s hoikuen activities… (now dad is going to run while i play (imaginary) piano, & mum & haruki are going to chase him…) haruki, on the other hand, was content with singlehandedly attempting to defoliate one of japan’s official national cultural treasures…
today was a lot more dreary, steel gray sky & a little on the chilly side… mita park is cool, though, lots of stuff to climb & jump on… the pokemons took their bike/trike… hana has got the pedals & brakes worked out, is not completely across the looking where you’re going &/or steering to avoid stuff parts yet… haruki hasn’t quite figured out the pedalling bit, but has developed a killer random swerve… not sure if this afternoon’s forecast rain ever arrived, but we at least made it home dry & in mostly one piece…
