• just got home from chiba, clear run, totally gran turismo… #
• should be doing my homework, but drinking instead. arguable as to which improves my japanese more. homework *might* be longer lasting… #
• really need to get off my arse & have another tilt at the no smoking thing… #
• have a strange desire to take up tobogganing. may need to figure out how to spell it first… #
• woah! 6:00 am. was dreaming i’d slept in, but when i reached out to check what time it was, the alarm went off… disorienting… #
• & i got up before i could go back to sleep, which is moderately unusual… #
• mum arrives tomorrow evening. looking forward to it. bit more than 3 years since i last saw her. pokemons are stoked: nana’s coming! #
• mum’s first flight of the day should be just about to depart… #
• mum confirmed in transit. #
• mum arrived safe but very weary. pokemons initially wary but warming up quickly… #
• pokemons still getting used to having nana around, but adapting fast. went up to garden place for lunch yesterday, haruki: “nana! naaaana!” #
• after we got home, nana was honoured with a ceremonial “paku-paku-paku! crocodile handpuppet is eating you!” pokemon attack… #
• & hana said last night she wanted to stay home from hoikuen today to hang out with nana. will see shortly if that plan is still current… #
• less time than usual with mum here. pokemons are hopefully entertaining. don’t feel that i necessarily am. #
• what’s worse? not having copy & paste at all, or knowing that copy & paste is coming in a few months? or waking up at 5 am on saturday? #
• i’m going with option #2, although… option #3 involves some suck, as does option #1… no, i’ve decided. i’ll stick with #2 please. #
• could really have done with more than 3 & 1/2 hours sleep… (no, still option #2. yes, i’m sure.) #
• great catching up with mum, though. up way too late talking last night. planning to hit kamakura today. if i can find it… #
