- work your arse off — obviously a more than generous portion remains in situ to this very day, but as a general principle…
- things could be worse — no matter how shitty the situation i found myself in, or how hounded by workmonkeys i was, or how generally pissed i might have been about life, the universe & everything, i’ve tried to hold that thought…

Truely you have discovered the heart of it. It is the successful application of whim and chance that guides our lives. The whim representing the subconcious expression of your heart’s true desires, and chance offering unparalleled oportunity.
