a fool & his money — will inevitably find his way to yahoo auctions… how good are on-line auctions!?! i think i finally understand the attraction of gambling… after four nights of bidding & just missing out (once because hana tipped a glass of cold water all over a sleeping sumie two minutes before the auction i was bidding on was about to close — “teeeeeeedddd!!!”), i finally came out on top in the bidding for a second-hand thinkpad! at one point in its life, it even worked! (assuming, of course, that the photo on the auction site was actually of the laptop in question…) anyway, a collection of thinkpad parts — hopefully assembled as a complete, functioning thinkpad — will shortly be on its way to my door! suzuki-sama, yoroshiku onegaishimasu!
