woohoo! pigeons!
i wasn't chasing pigeons

hot as a bastard/don’t eat the pig! or the goat(s)! took hanachan to the ueno zoo today… goddamn but it was warm… still, she had a great time… she seemed to recognise & perhaps like the elephants… although that’s based only on the fact that everytime we saw the elephants she started waving one of her arms in front of her face in a vaguely trunk-like manner & making a “vrooooo!” noise…

which, even allowing for projection, seemed to me to be an acceptable elephant impersonation for someone who’s only 15 months old… plus, she didn’t do it with any of the other animals (they generally got both arms waving above the head plus giggles), which seems to suggest she can tell the difference between an elephant &, for example, an anteater…

parenting is constantly surprising, but that may only be because 15 months in i still have no clue about it & can barely tell the difference between my ass & a hole in the ground…

goats ahoy — we were in the kiddie-zoo part in time for the afternoon goat feeding, which involved about 20 goats & around double the number of children stampeding about & waving bits of grass… a good time was had by all… goats are remarkably patient creatures…

& after the novelty of goat-harrassment began to pale, hanachan amused herself by attempting to climb over the fence to visit one of the pigs… what a cutie…

say you, piggie!
part human, part monkey

why i am not really a gamer — i haven’t really disappeared into my CSP too much, although i do periodically get sucked into it’s tiny yet oh so enticingly crystal clear display… but i’ve succumbed to it often enough to come to the realisation that i basically lack the patience to master &/or remember control combinations that make my head spin &/or fingers ache… give me something with left, right, stop, go & (when applicable — & if it is… even better!) handbrake turn… give me… micromachines v4
