::: keeping up

upholding the recently established traditions — of one post per month & not even opening my email client… i was trying to remember the last time i read my mail… sometime in october, i think… & when i say read, obviously i mean quickly scanned the first 1400 bits of spam for messages from people i actually knew & then got discouraged & went back to buying stuff from amazon japan…

what’s been happening? cold. wow, but it’s cold. also, i got promoted to team leader a while back. this does not, i’m reasonably sure, have any kind of causal relationship with the weather. hanachan continues to be genki. been going to various end of year/christmas parties. have a short trip to kyushu planned for early next week. bought a new coat. got confused by the japanese-only instructions for setting up our new optical fibre broadband connection. visited some friends. worked some long hours. played with hanachan a lot. (it’s what i do at those times when other parents may be doing actual parenting…)
