::: japanese for elephant

zo-san! (kawaii desu ne)

with approximately 400 people per square metre — nothing says “hello neighbour” like an electric guitar, right? so there we were in ochanomizu this afternoon, & the place is full of music stores, &, well, my new guitar is a bright yellow fernandes zo-3 (zo is japanese for elephant, 3 in japanese is san, so, zo-san is mr elephant – take another look at the photo if you haven’t worked it out yet)… it’s tokyo-sized (i.e. teensy – 22 fret neck) & just too cute with a pretty nice action, & it’s got a little 5 watt built-in amp that doesn’t sound all that bad either… (at least, not in the hands of someone who can play… my mileage may vary…) & now… to google! in search of tab…

  1. Dude, that is sooooooo sweet. I’m glad you finally gave in to your impulse to buy a device that is both rockin’ and kawaii.

  3. It looks like someone squashed Pikachu flat with a rolling pin and nailed strings to the remains.

    …that’s pretty damn cool, actually.

  4. Dude,
    that guitar rocks. I would want to own it and I don’t even know how to play one. Right now you are cooler than a big bag full of cool things.
