of course things can always get weirder — went to a class for expectant parents yesterday, watched a couple of educational videos & — believe or not — got to listen to the nurse read a poem…

hammer my bones on the anvil of daylight — totally into the new beck album at the moment… the site currently has the video for e-pro posted…

va-va-varooom — should sign the contract for the x-trail in the next couple of days… trying to organise a time with the dealer… exciting… drove one on thursday that was basically the same spec as the one we’re buying… sweet… (x-trail info at nissan australia for those who prefer english…)

step away from the computer — it’s a gorgeous spring day in tokyo today, perfect temperature, blue(-ish) sky, so i’m heading outside… later y’all…

late again — misc. cherry blossomage from two or so weeks past… taken over a couple of days & nights along megurogawa…

& from the transposed aspect…

of course, it’s not all cherry blossoms (& people looking at cherry blossoms)… there’s footpaths (& people taking photos of footpaths too)…

rest — two days off now… the weather is gradually warming up again — yesterday was gorgeous, today… well, i’m not at work, so obviously it’s gonna be cold & raining, right? [checks outside] yep, still cold & raining… who knows what tomorrow will bring? we have a meeting with the builder later today to discuss some of the finer points of the renovations… we have a meeting with the car dealer tomorrow… i don’t hafta be back at work until friday… sumie has been a little tired the last couple of days, but is generally genki… me too, although for different reasons… i’ve even been doing some writing… now i just need to work out where i put my notes…

it’s just a matter of time — before a supervolcano erupts… (thank you, sydney morning herald…)

quake vs quake — yesterday morning’s quake was officially bigger than the afternoon’s, but weirdly i didn’t feel the first one (although as soon they started playing the earthquake announcement over the building p.a., i did notice the blinds in the office i was working in swaying back & forth), but i did feel the second one (which, for some reason, they didn’t bother to announce…)

still to do — contracts & other misc. paperwork, car to be manufactured/delivered, etc…

hey, speaking of contracts — signed on the dotted line of a 12 month contract the other day, extensible by mutual agreement… sweet…
