saturday — we met Chiaki & Hisano for lunch on saturday near omotesando, after which we walked to shibuya for coffee & spent much of the rest of the afternoon talking… after Chiaki & Hisano headed home, Sumie & i had a quick look at the medicom toys shop (be@rbrick++) before wandering home for a lazy night…
sunday — the weather turned weirdly cool, overcast all day & almost kinda chilly… we went to shinagawa to see a Fujiko Fujio A exhibition… among other things, he was responsible for doraemon & ninja hattori-kun… Fujiko Fujio was actually the joint pseudonym of two collaborators, hence the A — after they split up, the guy whose work we saw wrote/drew as Fujiko Fujio A while the other worked as Fujiko F Fujio… my background knowledge is very sketchy, but it was cool — lots of original pages from his various manga…
yesterday — spent much of the day doing volunteer work (the office was closed last week, so i get two days this week), followed by a bit of research & some coding… nothing to see just yet, but soon…
today — the weather continues a little cooler, & this afternoon it’s been raining, which has been nice… also nice — i just heard i have a second interview for the position i interviewed for last tuesday… you would not believe how much i want this job… fingers crossed…
