what else has been happening? — well, on the poetry side of things, the australia council have offered me some funding to help further develop my writing, which is kinda exciting (in, like, that totally exciting kinda way!) &, like, uh, i guess, yeah, my writing could, uh, mebbe do with, um, some, uh, further development…

embodied corporate — i was peripherally involved in a business meeting with some people from oracle yesterday, & wow, they were scary… when they weren’t finishing each other’s sentences (or finishing our sentences for us) they were doing a vaguely frightening good cop/bad cop routine… i mean, yeah, talk about your basic aggressive hegemonising swarm… it was creepy. oracle doesn’t need our money, it just wants to be our friend…
